Shadow Lake is a census-designated place in southwestern King County, Washington, centered around the scenic shores of its namesake lake. Home to approximately 2,465 residents, the wooded residential community is bordered by Covington to the south and Maple Valley to the southeast. Public education is administered by the Tahoma School District.
