Sharpsburg, MD

Set among the rolling hills of western Maryland, Sharpsburg is a quiet community with deep historic roots. Founded in 1763 and later shaped by the C&O Canal, the town is most famous for sitting right beside Antietam National Battlefield. Historic stone houses, brick sidewalks, and centuries-old landmarks line Main Street, giving the area an authentic small-town atmosphere that has changed very little over the decades.
