About Shenandoah

Shenandoah is a city in Page and Fremont counties in southwestern Iowa, established along the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad in 1870. Historically renowned as a major seed and nursery center and acting as the birthplace of the musical careers of the Everly Brothers, the community of approximately 4,892 is served by the Shenandoah Community School District locally.
