About Sheridan

Sheridan is a city and the county seat of Grant County, Arkansas, situated deep within the forests of the Arkansas Timberlands. Located at the intersection of U.S. highways 167 and 270, the city was built on land that was once part of the historical territory of the Quapaw Nation. Named after Civil War General Philip Sheridan, the community hosts the annual Timberfest celebration. Local children attend public schools operated by the Sheridan School District.
