Shoreham, MI

Shoreham is a small Berrien County village pressed between Lake Michigan and the larger orbit of St. Joseph. The 2020 census counted 844 residents, and the village sits inside St. Joseph Charter Township just south of the city. That geography tells the story better than a population number does: Shoreham has its own council, sign, streets, and local decisions, but the shoreline and neighboring St. Joseph are always part of the picture. The lake is not scenery at the edge of town; it is the reason the village feels like a place at all.
