Sims, IL

Sims got its start in the 1880s as a railroad stop in southern Illinois. In its early days, it grew into a lively farming village complete with its own bank, local stores, a school, and neighborhood churches. Life in Wayne County moves at a much quieter pace today, but Sims keeps that classic small-town feel where neighbors know each other and wide-open countryside is right down the road.
