Sinclair, WY

Sinclair stands out right away thanks to its Spanish Colonial architecture, an unexpected sight along the high plains of southern Wyoming. Originally founded in the 1920s as the planned company town of Parco, the community was built around a central plaza with red-tile roofs, stucco facades, and a historic hotel. Today, that original footprint remains well preserved, giving the town a distinct vintage look and a clear sense of identity.

Life here is closely tied to the local refinery, which continues to anchor the community's economy. With just a few hundred residents, Sinclair offers a quiet neighborhood setting, while neighboring Rawlins is only a five-minute drive west for grocery runs, dining, and Carbon County schools. It makes for an easygoing, tight-knit place to live with quick access to regional jobs and Interstate 80.
