Sleepy Hollow, CA

Sleepy Hollow is a small census-designated place in Marin County, just north of San Anselmo and south of Novato. Its history reaches back to the 1838 Canada de Herrera land grant, and its setting still feels more tucked-away valley than suburban grid. The community is residential, affluent, and closely tied to the hills and open space of central Marin. Sleepy Hollow does not have a large commercial center; its appeal is privacy, scenery, schools nearby, and quick access to San Anselmo, Fairfax, and Highway 101.
