Sloatsburg is a village in the town of Ramapo, Rockland County, New York, situated at the southern entrance to Harriman State Park. Named for early landowner Stephen Sloat and containing several properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the community of approximately 3,038 is served by the Suffern Central School District for public primary and secondary education.
