About Soddy-Daisy
Soddy-Daisy is a city in Hamilton County, Tennessee, formed in 1969 when the communities of Soddy and Daisy merged along U.S. Route 27. Located north of Chattanooga, the community of approximately 13,200 functions as a bedroom suburb within the Chattanooga metropolitan area. The city is bordered by Mowbray Mountain to the west and an inlet of Chickamauga Lake to the east. It is home to the Sequoyah Nuclear Generating Station and the popular Stone Fort bouldering area.
