Sound Beach, NY

Sound Beach is a coastal hamlet and census-designated place in the northern portion of the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County, New York. Established in 1929 along the North Shore of Long Island, the community of approximately 7,200 is bordered to the north by the Long Island Sound. The residential neighborhood is situated between Miller Place and Rocky Point, with public school students split between the two corresponding school districts.
