Spout Springs, NC

Spout Springs is a census-designated place in Johnsonville Township, Harnett County, south of the Raleigh-Fayetteville corridor. It was first listed as a CDP in the 2020 census, which says a lot about the area's recent growth and suburbanization. The community is close to Fort Liberty, Sanford, and the expanding edges of central North Carolina. Spout Springs is not a traditional incorporated town; it is more a fast-growing residential area with schools, subdivisions, country roads, and commuting patterns doing the defining work.
