Spring Creek Colony is a tight-knit Hutterite community in rural McPherson County, South Dakota, tucked just south of the North Dakota state line. Home to around 230 residents, this communal farming settlement centers on shared agricultural work, faith, and a traditional way of life. The surrounding landscape is wide-open prairie, with the small town of Forbes, North Dakota, sitting about six miles to the northeast and the county seat of Leola roughly 17 miles to the south.
