Springfield, TN

Springfield is the county seat of Robertson County, north of Nashville, with a small-city role in one of Middle Tennessee's growing outer counties. U.S. 431 and U.S. 41 have both shaped movement through town, and the Highland Crest higher education facility brings Volunteer State Community College into the local picture. Springfield has parks, schools, older neighborhoods, and a courthouse-square feel, but it is also increasingly tied to the Nashville region's commuting and development pressure.
