Springs, NY

Springs is a hamlet and census-designated place in East Hampton on Long Island's South Fork. It is tied to Accabonac Harbor, and longtime locals are often called Bonackers, a name drawn from that harbor. Springs-Fireplace Road is one of the main connections back toward East Hampton village. The area also has an important art-world association through Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner, whose home and studio helped make Springs part of the East End's creative geography.
