About St. Vincent

St. Vincent is a city in Kittson County, Minnesota, United States. The 2020 census counted 57 residents. St. Vincent, which is directly across the Red River from Pembina, was initially incorporated in 1857, just prior to statehood. Many of the earliest settlers to what would become Pembina and St. Vincent were Métis, going back to the late 18th century. St. Vincent makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about St. Vincent is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. The community is the westernmost community in Minnesota. St. Vincent is situated on the banks of the Red River of the North, in the Red River Valley.
