Stafford is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Clackamas County, Oregon. Named in the 1860s by pioneer George A. Steel after his Ohio hometown, the residential neighborhood of approximately 1,600 is situated directly south of Lake Oswego. Public education for local students is administered by the West Linn-Wilsonville School District.
