Summit, OR

Perched at the highest pass of the Coast Range between Corvallis and the Oregon coast, Summit is a tiny, peaceful community surrounded by dense forest and rolling farmland. Originally settled in the late 1800s as a railroad stop and wagon camp, the hamlet is now home to just a few dozen residents. Life here is quiet and deeply rural, framed by historic homesteads, an old 1930s schoolhouse, and miles of wooded hills. It offers complete country seclusion while still keeping residents within a scenic drive of the Willamette Valley.
