About Suttons Bay
Suttons Bay is the village on the Leelanau Peninsula that gives its name to the bay, with the water close by along Front Street and the village marina at the end of Adams Street. The municipality has a seven-member council and maintains plans for the village, marina, and parks. Village Marina Park brings the shoreline into daily use with a sandy beach, swimming area, bathhouse, walking paths, playground, fishing, and boat docks. Its roughly 3,000 feet of frontage also hosts the Suttons Bay Art Festival. Suttons Bay's civic life is organized around the bay itself: council offices inland, the marina at the water, and public paths tying the two together.
