Swannanoa, NC

Swannanoa is a census-designated place in Buncombe County, North Carolina, situated along the Swannanoa River between Asheville and Black Mountain. Historically home to the Beacon Blanket Mill, the mountain community of approximately 6,901 is the location of Warren Wilson College. Public education is administered by the Buncombe County Schools district.
