Sylvia is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States. The 2020 census counted 215 residents. Sylvia was originally called Zenith, and was founded under that name in 1874. Sylvia was renamed Sylvia in 1886, perhaps named for the wife and daughter of a railroad employee.
