Tallmadge, OH

Tallmadge is a Summit County city with one of northeast Ohio's more distinctive town layouts. It began as part of the Connecticut Western Reserve, and its historic center is organized around the Tallmadge Circle, with roads radiating outward from the old town green. The Old Town Hall and Circle Park keep that early planning visible. Today Tallmadge is suburban and residential, with its own school district, local businesses, and access to Akron, Kent, and the wider region, but the circle still gives it a memorable civic center.
