Taylor, AL

Taylor is a growing town in Geneva and Houston counties, Alabama, situated within the Dothan metropolitan area. First settled in the 1870s and named after a prominent local family who helped establish the first post office, the community did not officially incorporate until June 1967. While the majority of the town lies in western Houston County, its western rural limits extend into neighboring Geneva County, offering approximately twenty-two hundred residents a peaceful suburban lifestyle.
