About Taylor

Taylor is a borough in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, situated along the Lackawanna River three miles southwest of Scranton. Founded in 1790 by Cornelius Atherton and historic as a nineteenth-century coal and silk hub, the community of approximately 6,265 is served by the Riverside School District for public primary and secondary education.
