Tazewell is a town and the county seat of Claiborne County, Tennessee, situated on the northern slope of Wallen Ridge in the Appalachian Mountains. Named in honor of Virginia Senator Henry Tazewell and hosting a satellite campus of Walters State Community College, the historic community of approximately 2,902 is served by Claiborne County Schools locally.
