Telford, TN

Set among the rolling hills of northeast Tennessee, Telford is a quiet rural community located between historic Jonesborough and Limestone. Life here moves at an easy pace, with family farms, open pastures, and wooded ridges spreading out from the center of town along Mill Street. Grandview Elementary gives neighborhood families a school right down the road, while Johnson City is a short drive away for work, major shopping, and medical care.

The town grew around the East Tennessee and Virginia Railroad in the 1850s, named after local landowner George Whitfield Telford. The tracks still run through the center of the community, carrying on the area's long agricultural heritage. Today, Telford is a great fit for anyone looking for scenic mountain views, plenty of open space, and a relaxed country setting within easy reach of the rest of the Tri-Cities.
