Tiger, GA

Tucked into the northeast Georgia mountains just south of Clayton, Tiger is a quiet rural community where life moves at a relaxed pace. With around 600 residents, the area offers plenty of breathing room, winding back roads, and scenic views of the Blue Ridge foothills. Local lore says the town earned its distinctive name either from a Cherokee chief named Tiger Tail or from the cries of panthers that once echoed across the surrounding ridges.
