About Tipp City

Tipp City is a city in southern Miami County, Ohio, situated along the Great Miami River fifteen miles north of Dayton. Founded in 1840 as Tippecanoe City and renamed in 1938, the community of approximately 10,400 lies along the Interstate 75 corridor. The city is famous for hosting the annual Trans Am Nationals cruise-in every August and features the historic Roundhouse pavilion in City Park, with public education provided by the Tipp City Exempted Village School District.
