About Tiro

Tiro is a tiny Crawford County community of around 200 people surrounded by quiet north-central Ohio farmland. First settled in the 1870s as a rail stop called DeKalb Station, the village today offers a slow-paced, close-knit rural atmosphere. Its biggest claim to fame is the Tiro Tavern's annual spring Testicle Festival, a quirky weekend tradition packed with live music, fried specialties, and good humor that brings in visitors from all across the region.
