Tollette, AR

Tollette is a small town in southern Howard County, Arkansas, with a population of under two hundred residents. The historic community was established in the late nineteenth century as an all-African American town by Sanford Tollette and his wife, Caldonia Crofton Tollette. Today, it remains a residential residential community preserving its significant cultural heritage in the southwestern corner of the state.
