Tomah is a city in Monroe County, Wisconsin, situated along the South Fork of the Lemonweir River. Founded in 1855 by Robert E. Gillett and surrounding the reservoir of Lake Tomah, the community of approximately 9,532 is a regional transportation and industrial hub. Public education is served by the Tomah Area School District.
