Sitting high along U.S. Route 60 between Superior and Globe, Top-of-the-World is a quiet rural community surrounded by the Pinal Mountains. The elevation brings cooler temperatures and sweeping desert views that feel far removed from city life, though the highway keeps you well-connected. Most residents rely on Route 60 for quick trips into nearby towns for groceries, work, or weekend getaways.

Because the area straddles the county border, school assignments depend on which side of the line you live on. Kids in Pinal County attend Superior Unified schools, while families on the Gila County side are zoned for Miami Unified. Both districts serve pre-K through high school, so daily routines and shopping trips tend to split naturally between Superior to the west and Globe to the east.
