About Topsham

Topsham is a historic town in Sagadahoc County, Maine, situated at the mouth of the Androscoggin River along Merrymeeting Bay. Drained by the Cathance River, the community of approximately 7,300 is part of the Portland metropolitan area and historically developed around the water-powered Granny-Hole Mill. Today, the town hosts the annual Topsham Fair and public education is provided by the Maine School Administrative District 75.
