Tremonton, UT

Tremonton is a northern Utah city in Box Elder County, set near the Bear River Valley and the routes between Salt Lake City, Logan, and Idaho. Settlers arrived in the area in the late 1880s, but larger development waited until land and irrigation efforts opened more of the area around 1900. Today Tremonton has schools, food processing, manufacturing, and access to nearby employers in Garland and the wider county. It feels like a practical agricultural and highway city with mountain and valley scenery close by.
