Trimble, TN

Trimble is a quiet, close-knit rural community of around 500 people, sitting right on the border between Dyer and Obion counties in northwest Tennessee. Because the town straddles the county line, residents enjoy easy access to nearby hubs like Dyersburg and Union City for shopping, dining, and healthcare, while local kids attend either Dyer or Obion County schools. The community got its start in the 1870s as a stop along the Paducah and Memphis Railroad, and it has maintained that peaceful, small-town agricultural character ever since.

Day-to-day life centers around Main Street and Parks Plaza, where you will find the local library, elementary school, and a handful of neighborhood businesses. One of the town's most cherished landmarks is its historic covered bridge, built at the turn of the twentieth century as one of the few surviving wooden covered bridges in Tennessee. Along with the downtown gazebo, it remains a favorite spot for weddings, community celebrations, and quiet afternoon walks.
