About Trotwood

Trotwood is a suburban city in Montgomery County, Ohio, located northwest of Dayton. Originally platted in 1854 as Higgins Station, the community of approximately 23,000 is home to United Theological Seminary, one of thirteen seminaries of the United Methodist Church. The city formerly hosted the annual Dayton Hamvention at Hara Arena, and local public education is administered by the Trotwood-Madison City School District.
