Truth or Consequences, NM

Truth or Consequences, often simply called T or C, is a quirky desert town in southern New Mexico with around 6,000 residents. Originally named Hot Springs, the city famously changed its name in 1950 after a radio game show contest, though its natural mineral waters are still the heart of the community. Downtown is lined with historic bathhouses and cozy lodges where natural geothermal springs bubble to the surface along the Rio Grande.
