About Tuckahoe
Tuckahoe is a small village in lower Westchester County, set along the Bronx River corridor between Bronxville, Eastchester, and Yonkers. The village has older industrial roots, especially through Tuckahoe marble, a stone used in notable buildings in New York and Washington. Today Tuckahoe is compact and commuter-oriented, with a Metro-North station, apartment buildings, local restaurants, and residential streets close to the river valley. It feels urban by suburban standards, but still distinctly Westchester in scale and daily rhythm.
