Tucker, MS

Tucker is a quiet, close-knit rural community in Neshoba County, home to one of the eight reservations of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians. Known traditionally as Fani Lakna, or "Yellow Squirrel," the area centers around strong family ties and shared tribal heritage. Daily life often revolves around the local community center, which serves as a welcoming hub for neighborhood events, youth activities, and emergency shelter during severe weather.
