Tybee Island, GA

Tybee Island is a city and barrier island in Chatham County, Georgia, situated eighteen miles east of Savannah. Operating as the state's easternmost point, the beach community of approximately 3,123 is home to the historic Tybee Island Light Station. Public education for local school children is served by Chatham County Public Schools.
