Unionville, TN

Unionville is a quiet rural community located northwest of Shelbyville in Bedford County. The town got its name in 1827 when two neighboring settlements decided to join forces, and that neighborly feel has remained a defining feature. Today, it offers plenty of open space, rolling pastureland, and a relaxed pace of life for residents who appreciate country living.

Local life revolves around the schools, which are fittingly named Community Elementary, Middle, and High School. In the fall, folks turn out to cheer on the Vikings and Viqueens under the Friday night lights, creating a tight-knit atmosphere where neighbors quickly become friends. It is a peaceful slice of Middle Tennessee with deep historic roots and plenty of room to breathe.
