About Upperville

Upperville is a tiny, historic village in Northern Virginia’s horse country, home to fewer than two hundred residents in Fauquier County. Founded in the late 1700s along the old turnpike to Ashby’s Gap, the community is full of preserved stone buildings and open pastureland. It is best known for the Upperville Colt & Horse Show, the oldest horse show in the country, which has drawn riders to the village every June since 1853.
