The system's wheelchair-accessible vehicles and telephone booking also keep it usable for riders without a smartphone or with mobility needs. That service operates in a regional city whose calendar mixes university, park, and downtown activity. Valdosta State University reported 10,435 students in fall 2025 and offers nearly 200 academic programs. Beside campus, the 11-acre Drexel Park has a playground, shaded grounds, a labeled collection of native trees, and direct access to the Azalea City Multipurpose Trail; it also hosts the annual Azalea Festival.
