About Valencia

Valencia is a tiny borough in southern Butler County, situated right along the Allegheny County border. The community started out with names like Brookside and Sunnyside before taking on Valencia in the late 1800s to avoid a railroad mix-up with another local stop. It has stayed small and quiet ever since, consisting mainly of a few residential streets, classic older homes, and green hillsides.

Families are part of the Mars Area School District, and most daily errands take people into neighboring Mars, Adams Township, or Gibsonia. You get the benefit of being only a short drive from the shopping centers, restaurants, and medical offices along Route 228 and Route 8.
