About Valley

Valley is a city in southeastern Chambers County, Alabama, situated on the western bank of the Chattahoochee River. The community was incorporated relatively recently in 1980, combining four historic textile mill villages: Fairfax, Langdale, River View, and Shawmut. Today the city preserves its industrial heritage and historic neighborhoods while functioning as a residential and commercial center for Chambers County.
