About Valley City

Valley City is a scenic river city and the county seat of Barnes County, North Dakota. Established in 1874 along the Sheyenne River and famously nicknamed the City of Bridges for its numerous historic spans—including the massive Hi-Line Railroad Bridge—the community of approximately 6,541 is served by the Valley City Public School District for public education.
