Vardaman, MS

Vardaman is a town in Calhoun County, Mississippi. The 2020 census counted 1,110 residents. The town is named after James Kimble Vardaman, Mississippi governor from 1904 to 1908. Vardaman was a Democrat and white supremacist who later became a member of the United States Senate. Children in the Vardaman area attend either Vardaman Elementary School or Vardaman High School.
