About Victoria
Victoria is a Marshall County census-designated place and unincorporated community in northwestern Mississippi, set along the BNSF Railway. It was established on January 22, 1886, and early records show a church and cotton gin when the community had 30 people in 1900. Mississippi Highway 178 runs through Victoria, linking Byhalia northwest and Holly Springs southeast, while Barrow Creek heads toward the Coldwater River. Victoria is a north Mississippi railroad place whose map still follows tracks, highway, and creek country.
