About Vilonia

Vilonia is a city in Faulkner County, Arkansas, forming part of the Central Arkansas region. Settled in the 1860s, the area was initially organized as Cypress Township before residents renamed it Vilonia, meaning "land of two valleys." Today US Route 64 bypasses the city to the south, connecting residents to Conway, the county seat, and Beebe. Local students attend public schools operated by the Vilonia School District, graduating from Vilonia High School.
