Vina, CA

Located just north of Chico along the Sacramento River, Vina is a tiny rural community of about 200 residents in Tehama County. Life here is quiet and unhurried, surrounded by sprawling walnut orchards and open farmland. The town is best known for the Abbey of New Clairvaux, an active Trappist monastery with winemaking roots dating back to the historic Leland Stanford estate.
